Customer Reviews: quirky and awesome song   November 9, 2009 bOoKwOrM (usa) Yes, it was that Kindle ad on tv which led me to Annie Little’s song. “Fly Me Away” was stuck in my head, and it took me some time to figure out the name of the artist and the song title! I really like Annie’s voice, and “Fly Me Away” is an excellent example of a good pop song(look up the lyrics online somewhere). I hope she releases a full length CD, because she deserves to be noticed. Lovely song   November 11, 2009 There ya go! “Thanks” (LA, CA) This is an adorable, fun song and I love the Kindle commercial. It’s really neat that she sings the song AND stars in the commercial. Together they make a perfect little music video. This girl has a great voice and I really like her other two songs as well. They are all well done with a nice vibe about them and her lyrics are clever and sweet. Easy to love. Hope she keeps ‘em coming. Enchanting!   November 20, 2009 Stephen Anderson (Rockford, Illinois, USA) Yes, this is the delightful ditty from the Amazon Kindle commercial and yes, the singer, Annie Little, is the sartorially versatile maid in the video — a really outstanding product promotion. But the music can stand alone. The melody is contagious, the lyrics wonderfully engaging, the voice intimate, but ingenuous, sweet, but honest. In the current soundscape of overproduced music, this recording shows the value and the charm of simplicity. It is to be hoped that this song will launch a highly successful musical career. Indeed, Miss Little deserves to be big!

Fly me away

Silver Moons and paper chains,
Faded maps and shiny things.
You’re my favorite one-man show.
A million different ways to go.
Will you fly me away?
Take me away with you,
My love.
Painted scenes, I’m up all night.
Slaying monsters, flying kites.
Speak to me in foreign tongues.
Share your secrets one by one.
Will you fly me away?
Take me away with you,
My love.
Now I cant think what life was like
Before I had you by my side.
Cant say what I’d do without you,
Knowing what its like to have you.
Hidden walk ways back in time.
Endless stories, lovers cry.
In my mind I’ve been set free.
Will you take this Journey
You and Me?
Will you Fly me away?
Take me away with you,
My love.
Fly me away with you,
My Love.
Take me away with you,
My Love.
